These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Expenze mobile application (the “App”) operated by Expenze, based in Pakistan (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By downloading, accessing, or using Expenze, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Expenze is a personal expense tracking application that allows users to record, organize, and monitor their financial transactions.

The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. It is a tool for informational and personal tracking purposes only.

2. Eligibility

Expenze may be used by individuals of any age, including users under 13. Since we do not require account registration and do not collect personal data, use by minors is permitted.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the App with parental or guardian awareness.

3. No Account Registration

Expenze does not require user accounts or authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored within the App.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree:

  • To use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not to attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Not to use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the service

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter into the App.

5. Data Storage

Expense data entered into Expenze is stored:

  • Locally on your device, and/or
  • In Google Firebase for backup and synchronization purposes

We do not verify, monitor, or control the financial data you input.

You are responsible for backing up your data where applicable.

6. No Financial Advice

Expenze is not a financial institution, accounting firm, or advisory service.

Nothing within the App should be interpreted as financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional for such services.

7. Third-Party Services

Expenze uses Google Firebase to support infrastructure and cloud storage.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service performance or data practices.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, logos, and software associated with Expenze are the intellectual property of Expenze unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Create derivative works

without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free
  • The App will be uninterrupted
  • Data will never be lost
  • The App will meet your specific expectations

Use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expenze shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss
  • Financial loss
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Device malfunction
  • Errors in calculations or reports

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

11. Data Deletion

You may delete your data directly within the App or by uninstalling the App.

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

13. Governing Law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
